Magh Mela
Magh Mela, also known as the smaller form of Kumbha Mela, is one of the most important religious affairs of the Hindus every year. It is held on the banks of Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three of the holiest rivers in Hindu mythology– Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati, in Prayag near Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.
During the monthlong fair,Sangam truly comes alive. Millions of devout Hindu pilgrims flock in from all over the country.
